burqa series...... for hundred of years, Pattthan women are wearing burqa. burqa is not just a cultural stereotupe, it is a graet feeling of security in a socity dominated by male. in this postmodern era, the globel community is constantly criticizing burqa, and is portrayed as a slavery and suppression symbol. but cultural symbols need to be observed in that particular cultural context. my work is a visual portrayed of this cultural context.
